Steam Showers - Tips to Stay Healthy While Using a Steam Shower

  • Do not use a steam shower immediately after an intense workout. Give your body some time to wind down a bit and reach a normal temperature before using your steam shower.

  • Drink plenty of water before and after using a steam shower session to avoid dehydrating due to fluids lost.

  • Avoid using a steam shower if you have any open wounds.

  • Avoid using your steam shower in excess of 20 minutes. Use the timer function to remind yourself.
